Local Experience.

13 Years as IT Manager for a leading sheet metal company based in Rhymney which unfortunately became a victim of cheap competition from overseas.

3 Years as IT and Engineering manager of a precision engineering facility based in Merthyr Tydfil. Responsibilities included all IT systems, management of the technical engineering team, production improvement initiatives and customer liason regarding new product development and costing.

1 Year as Client Project Manager for an IT company based in Treforest. Based entirely on the end-customer's premises, this role involved the day-to-day control of the on-going implementation of a large ERP software system. During this time, I also became a qualified PRINCE 2 Practitioner.
